Concrete effort

Today I have decided to do something different and i went to Dorćol, old Belgrade city core. In one of my favorite streets I found a lot of buildings with old style facades. I wondered why people stopped building such classy estates, why they stopped putting that extra effort in making something long-lasting, something that is recognizable and something that will be remembered?
